Welcome to the blog. Here you will keep up to date with what is going on with Pam and me and see pictures we enjoy from around Northern Indiana or wherever the Airstream and pickup truck takes us. Or just see what is the latest creation from our corner of the world.
Please take a moment and leave a note.
Thanks,
I've always been intrigued by bamboo and who doesn't love waterfalls. Here are both in the same, short video clip.
I posted this video for two reasons.
First, I really like it. That alone was reason enough.
Second, I just wanted to say a few words about electric bicycles. They are very popular here. Among the older Amish and increasingly among the "English".
Everyone, Amish and English, tend to go too fast on them.
Pam and I first saw them in use in Ohio by Amish. There were lots of hills there so having them was almost a necessity. Here things are pretty flat so unless you are really old there isn't a lot of reason to use them.
Happy pedaling.
An Amish buggy passes Bonneyville Mills.
Bonneyvill Mills is an Elkhart County Park, located near Bristol, Indiana. Pam goes here to buy her cornmeal.
We have nice horses in this part of Indiana.
Amish love their horses. They are a big part of Amish life.
On the website is video.
Many video(s).
Horses, buggies, cows, oceans, sunsets...
Take a look!
(This video has sound.)
There is an older song "He's Got the Whole World in HIs Hands" that was popular. Do you know it?
It is hard to say the title in my head... toward the end it gets sung.
So this is a visual of that song.
