I'm not dying... yetA week ago today they took a biopsy in my mouth. It had been there for a long time. I told the dentist about it 8 or so moths ago but they couldn't see anything until my last visit and then... low and behold... there "it" was. A few weeks later (last week) they cut it or part of it out and sent it off to the pathologist. Anyway the news came back today that it was a benign lesion. So I'm okay. What a weird week to think you might have cancer. Pam and I had some interesting conversations and I came to appreciate her more than ever. She is so calm and without drama. You can talk anything over with her and she just "hangs in there". So I did a lot of thinking about pain and death. (What an uplifting post!) and if you want to hear those thoughts email me or call me. I had only a few people praying for me because I didn't want a bunch of drama and hoopla. The picture below is one of my favorites. It is a tree tunnel down by Topeka (Indiana). The verse is about hope. Hope.
