Bonneyville Mills early winter.
Bonneyville Mills is a county park near Bristol, Indiana. This is a fun and educational place to visit. Especially educational if you go when the mill is open, which is in the summer months. On one of our visits this summer I asked about electrical power generation. They said that there was water sourced electrical power here decades ago. Enough to supply 20 or 30 households. This area has lots of water and evidence that in decades past it was used to generate electrical power. Lots of old power plants in the Goshen, Indiana area sit on old "races".
